The HR Coordinator serves as a central operational support role within the Human Resources function, responsible for coordinating HR systems, processes, reporting, and administrative activities across the organization. This role supports HR operations, HRIS administration, recruiting and onboarding coordination, compliance tracking, and employee inquiries while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job SummaryThe HR Coordinator serves as a central operational support role within the Human Resources function, responsible for coordinating HR systems, processes, reporting, and administrative activities across the organization. This role supports HR operations, HRIS administration, recruiting and onboarding coordination, compliance tracking, and employee inquiries while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Systems Support
- Coordinate HR coding and billing administration
- Support UKG system administration and optimization, including leave and attendance, document management, reporting, success management, and performance management
- Assist with HR workforce analytics, reporting, and tracking, including compliance documentation and legal matter tracking
- Serve as a liaison with HR-related vendors, including UKG
, Workforce
QA, Indeed, and other partners
HR Documentation & Process Coordination
- Coordinate HR document administration and process standardization, including employee handbooks, new hire packets, and benefits materials
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure proper document retention and compliance
- Support unclaimed property administration related to HR records and payroll coordination
Recruiting, Onboarding & Training Support
- Provide recruiting and onboarding coordination support, particularly for newly acquired businesses and during peak hiring periods
- Support new hire training initiatives, including the creation, maintenance, and delivery of training materials for frontline users
- Assist with onboarding activities to ensure timely system access, documentation completion, and compliance
Employee & Field Support
- Respond to general HR inquiries from employees and field locations
- Provide call and email support related to HR processes, systems, and documentation
- Coordinate with Payroll, IT, and HR leadership to resolve employee issues efficiently
Additional Responsibilities
- Support benefits administration and compliance activities as a backup resource
- Coordinate termination processing and offboarding administration, including Cintas uniform coordination, in alignment with HR and Payroll procedures
- Perform other HR coordination and administrative duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or related role preferred
- Experience working with HRIS systems (UKG Pro preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and reporting skills with comfort working in HR data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR-related systems
- Office-based with regular interaction with field locations
- Standard business hours with flexibility during peak periods
- May require occasional extended hours to support hiring cycles or acquisitions
