• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting.
• Demonstrates proper, secure documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Blood pressure machines
• Pulse oximetry
• Wheelchairs
• Walkers
• Other pertinent assistive devices

• Graduate of a four-year bachelor’s degree approved Physical Therapy Program.
• Acute Care Therapists and Therapy Assistants.

• Permanent or Temporary Physical Therapist License issued by the Mississippi State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 min lunch)
• One full weekend per month.
• Epic charting.
• Patient volume - 7-9, primarily evaluations.
• PT's cover all acute care units and may float to Ortho Institute (elective hip, knee and spine surgeries occur).
• Classified as acute care but functions similar to a surgery center.
