Electroencephalogram Technician

Overview

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Neuro EEG Technician to join a respected healthcare institution in Hattiesburg, MS 39401
. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about neurodiagnostics and patient-centered care.

This role is responsible for performing EEG procedures, monitoring patients, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care.

• Perform routine and continuous EEG studies according to established protocols
• Monitor EEG recordings and promptly report abnormalities or technical issues
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of EEG equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and test documentation
• Provide patient preparation, education, and support during procedures
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and departmental policies
• Support laboratory operations as needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
• Prior experience as an EEG Technician – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Sensitivity to patient needs and ability to function in a clinical environment

• Job Type: 13 Week Contract
• Shift: Variable Days/Nights
• Schedule: 4X10/ 3 × 12-hour shifts (36/40 hours/week)
