Clinical Assistant - Group Home

Overview

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has openings for Full Clinical Assistant to work in our group home that serves adults with a serious mental illness (SMI) diagnosis. Ivy Oaks Group Home is in Hattiesburg, MS and assists individuals with learning/maintaining skills for independent living. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Class D CDL driver license within 60 days of hire.

Previous experience working with an SMI population is preferred. This is a 24-hour facility. Shifts will vary. Weekends and Holidays may be required.

Education:

High School Diploma

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to obtain MS Class D CDL driver license within 60 days of hire
• Must possess valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Will Pass CPR, MANDT, And Other Required Testing
• Experience working in a group home setting preferred

• Maintains daily functioning of the residential facilities.
• Provides supervision and structured activities and/or care regimes to residents.
• Provides transportation to the individuals of the group home.
• Assists individuals with learning/ maintaining skills for independent living such as assistance with planning and preparing meals, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, social activities, and scheduling and attending appointment.
