Reporting to the Supervisor for Registration and Student Relations, the primary duty of this position is to process the assignment of classroom space for approved academic and non‑academic requests. Respond to inquiries concerning course scheduling and registration issues. Serve as a back‑up in the absence of the Supervisor for Registration and Student Relations.

• Coordinates the assignment of University classrooms for academic and non‑academic requests.
• Serves as primary point of contact for academic departments requesting classroom space. Processes classroom and event information into the University space utilization software.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with course scheduling and registration issues.
• Assist the campus community during the academic units schedule entry period.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Working knowledge of People Soft.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments across campus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ability to use Microsoft Word.

One to two years experience of working in a higher education environment.
