Job SummaryThe School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi seeks applications for an Instructor in Information Technology. This nine-month position will be based at the University s main campus in Hattiesburg.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Teaches twelve hours of undergraduate courses in the information technology discipline each regular semester.
- Engages in service to the School of Computing Sciences & Computer Engineering.
- Follows the policies and procedures of the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences and the University, including maintaining office hours and being responsive to student communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Master s degree in information technology or a closely related discipline.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals from all backgrounds.
Experience teaching at the college level.
