Shift Details
W2 Account, Local Dedicated Account.
Main start times around 2:30 AM, 12-14 hour shift, shift split days off. Off Sunday and Tuesday. Six days mandatory during holiday peak times. May include layover; hotel provided when that occurs.
Position DetailsDeliver fresh and frozen groceries on a 53, 51, 48, or 46 ft reefer trailer to supermarkets and distribution centers in New York boroughs and Long Island (80-90% of load), New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, and parts of upstate New York.
Drivers are expected to deliver in NYC boroughs daily, handling multi‑stop loads (typically 15‑20 stops per week). Typically one long load per day, with occasional short loads if hours permit. Drivers may pick up return product and need to handle possible backhauls to the DC. Assigned Automatic daycabs cannot be taken home for time off. Driver must provide their own transportation to and from the account.
Uniforms are provided.
Local job operates within a 350‑mile radius of North Hatfield, MA.
Requirements- Three months Class A experience with a 53‑foot trailer
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Clean background check
- No SAP driver experience allowed
- Must pass hair and urine drug test
