We are looking to recruit our first HR Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to step in the world of HR. You will not only have great on the job training, but you will also have a great opportunity to embark on a level 3 professional HR qualification. This is a great opportunity to support the recruitment function within a busy People and Organisational design team.

Main duties of the job- Support the Recruitment team in delivering a comprehensive service across the organisation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Support coordination of inclusion ambassador deployment and coordinating their training and support.
- Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Provide initial support to employees and managers, responding to general queries.
- Check eligibility and compliance for staff benefits requirements and verify these on Trust/benefits systems, liaising with staff and managers as appropriate and escalating to the Recruitment Officer/Team Leader where issues are identified.
- Support the organisation and delivery of recruitment events, including recruitment training
- Assist with the administration of internal meetings, such as the pre-employment checks meetings
- Assist with audits and spot checks as part of consistency and quality assurance processes
- Assist in putting together feedback forms and collating responses to support the Recruitment Officer/Team Leader in monitoring quality and outcomes
- Participate in HR projects, such as supporting the roll out new recruitment initiatives/new technologies, supporting reviews of processes and how these impact on employee attraction and inclusion

Person Specification Knowledge and experience- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- An interest in HR
- A willingness to learn and develop HR knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and a CIPD Level 3 qualification
