Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and organised Scheme Manager to support residents within a home ownership scheme in Hatfield, promoting independence, wellbeing and the delivery of high-quality, safe and value-for-money housing services.
THE ROLE
As a Scheme Manager, you will be the main point of contact for residents, delivering day-to-day support and ensuring schemes are safe, well-managed and compliant with all relevant standards.
Act as the primary contact for residents, providing information, advice and support to promote independent living
Assess individual resident needs and prepare, implement and review tailored support plans
Liaise with families, carers and external agencies to ensure holistic support is in place
Coordinate local services to ensure schemes are clean, secure and well maintained
Monitor contractor performance and take appropriate action where standards are not met
Carry out health & safety checks, risk assessments and scheme inspections
Support local housing teams with administrative duties, resales, income recovery and resident consultation
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar scheme-based or housing support role, with a strong understanding of supporting older or vulnerable residents.
Experience supporting older people or residents with varying support needs
Knowledge of housing management, resident involvement and community care practices
Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Competent in using IT systems, including basic Microsoft Word, Excel and housing databases
THE CONTRACT
Working Hours:
37 hours per week, full time

3 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Rate: £24,510 per year, plus benefits
