We are currently seeking a professional site-based Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Based at the campus of the University of Hertfordshire, the role focuses on the delivery of planned preventive maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, and installations. You will support and participate in an on-call rota operated from within the site-based team, and occasional overtime may be requested.

As a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer, the role is oriented around electrical work with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other non‑electrical works within the scope of the contract. This includes a variety of jobs related to maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site, whether specific equipment, building works, or site infrastructure.

The static Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and compliance for our client and customers. Building good working relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues on a professional level is a key requirement for this position.

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation plus any other formal electrical qualifications such as a Level 3 qualification.
• Mechanical awareness, FCU & AHU maintenance tasks.
• Water testing (L8), fire alarm testing and general handyperson tasks.

We’ll provide full training once you start and ensure you have everything you need to do a great job. You should already have experience working in a similar environment.
