This role is based in Hatfield or Dartford, and you’ll spend 2–3 days a week in the office or on site. We believe this is how our team builds strong connections, collaborates effectively, and delivers exceptional results.

As a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK, we’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our ambitious Highways team working in and around the M25.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping projects worth £5–10 million, taking ownership of:

• Subcontract procurement and commercial management
• Cost planning, control, and financial progress reporting
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring delivery excellence

You’ll also mentor an Assistant or Graduate QS, helping them grow while you step up as a leader.

• Experience:
  
  Senior QS or an experienced QS ready to step up
• Commercial expertise:
  Ideally in Highways projects in the range of £5–10 million
• Leadership:
  Ability to manage and mentor team members
• Technical know-how: NEC contracts is a must, COINS software (advantageous)
• Mindset:
  Analytical, organised, resilient, and a natural problem solver
