Document Controller

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Hatfield. This role supports construction and regeneration projects by ensuring all project documentation is accurately managed, compliant, and easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company and client standards

Control document flow, revisions, and distribution

Maintain drawing registers, change logs, and document trackers

Upload, review, and manage documents using EDMS systems (e.g. Viewpoint/4

Projects, SharePoint, BIM
360, Asite/Field View)

Coordinate documentation with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients

Support compliance with ISO standards, QA procedures, audits, and handover documentation

About You

Experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within construction or engineering

Strong understanding of document control processes

Confident using EDMS platforms and Microsoft Office

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Knowledge of ISO/QA processes is desirable
