Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexible part‑time options down to 12 hours.
Availability windows:
- Sun 08:00 – 18:00
- Tue 19:00 – 23:00
- Fri 08:00 – 18:00
- Ensure the van and trays are clean and tidy.
- Keep the back yard clean and clear of rubbish, picking up litter as needed.
- Participate in the tray wash process.
- Load the van, checking roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers about order changes, short codes, substitutions and refunds.
- Treat products and deliveries with care.
- Explain that customers will not be charged for substitutions.
- Deliver within the customer’s time slot.
- Call the customer before arriving if early.
- Call the store or centre if running 30 minutes or more late.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change.
- Show energetic and driven attitude to deliver beyond expectations.
- Share ideas with manager and colleagues for store improvement.
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
