We have an exciting opportunity to work in casual roles as a Youth Worker at our Youth Hubs across East Sussex.
What does a Youth Worker do? You will support the Leader in Charge in the operation and running of the session, engaging young people in the community, offering support, advice and guidance, and handling safeguarding concerns as a team.
You will support young people as they navigate the challenges and changes of society and themselves while transitioning from childhood to adulthood.
Successful applicants will receive a full induction and training to support all aspects of their role, with ongoing support from their manager and colleagues. Starting as a youth worker can pave the way for opportunities within keywork and social work.

- Drop‑in Youth Activity Sessions – open‑mixed groups where young people socialise and develop life skills through positive activities.
- LGBTQ+ – safe spaces for young people to explore their identity and receive support and advice.
- Juniors – open‑mixed groups where young people socialise and develop life skills through fun activities.
Sessions usually run in the afternoon and evening unless specified otherwise.
