Taitara Mahi – Risk Assurance Advisor

Permanent Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week

We are looking for a Risk Assurance Advisor who provides proactive and trusted support, known for their critical thinking and ability to deliver on objectives.

You will be an integral part of our Risk team working to drive excellent risk management practices, providing independent assurance over Council activities and key risks, and ensuring quality management practices are followed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and methodologies
• Experience working alongside a range of internal teams, which are undertaking a variety of functions and projects
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand impacts across the wider organisation
• Work collaboratively with the wider Risk Team in developing tools and training programmes
