Are you passionate about health and wellbeing? Do you want to be part of a team that supports people on their journey to healthier lives? We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Healthcare Support Volunteer
.

As a Healthcare Support Volunteer, you are an equal and valued member of the Healthcare team, supporting them in the day-to-day delivery of health and wellbeing interventions.

Our service users’ health and wellbeing is really important to us, so you will be playing a pivotal role in supporting the promotion of healthier lifestyles and harm reduction interventions, including providing naloxone within our services and community hubs.

You will be supporting clinics by working with clients to prepare them for a medical review, which will include taking blood pressure, screening for substances, and discussing expectations.

Following training, you will support the facilitation and delivery of Blood Bourne Virus screening and vaccinations as part of the healthcare team. You will be working closely with staff and partner agencies supporting service users to access treatment and clinical interventions.

Please note that we require you to be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this volunteering role.
