We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Asset Manager – Stormwater & Wastewater to join our 3 Waters team at Hastings District Council. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the strategic planning, performance monitoring, and financial management of our stormwater and wastewater networks.

You’ll lead the development of long-term asset strategies, ensure compliance with environmental and consent requirements, and support sustainable infrastructure decisions that enhance community wellbeing and resilience. This role is central to our response to growth, climate change, and environmental stewardship.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, iwi, mana whenua, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, future-proofed water services. Your expertise will help guide our capital programme and ensure our networks meet community expectations and statutory obligations.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in asset management, stormwater/wastewater planning, and infrastructure strategy
