Pay Rate: £110 – £120 per day

Role Overview:
We are looking to appoint a confident and dependable Cover Supervisor to join a supportive Secondary School in Rye
. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are seeking to gain hands‑on classroom experience.

In this role, you will supervise classes during short-term staff absences, ensuring students stay focused, engaged, and adhere to the school’s behaviour expectations.

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver pre‑set lesson plans and instructions
• Maintain a calm, positive, and well‑managed classroom environment
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
• Offer guidance and support to students where required

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A professional, flexible, and confident approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
