Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and friendly Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in schools across Hastings and East Sussex
. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while gaining valuable experience in education.

• Supporting pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and preparation
• Helping pupils with additional needs, including SEN support where required
• Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive classroom environment
• Observing and reporting on pupil progress to teaching staff
• Supporting learning activities and helping students stay engaged

• Experience working with children or young people (education, childcare, mentoring, or similar)
• A caring, patient, and supportive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
