Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in a nurturing and supportive environment? We are working with a small, specialist independent school in East Sussex catering to children aged 5-11 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and SEMH. We are now looking for an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join a lovely school's team on a part-time basis (4 days a week).

As an SEN Teacher, you'll lead a small mixed-ability class (not grouped by age) in a setting where learning is child-centred and flexible. You'll deliver a highly engaging, creative curriculum that includes:

• Interactive play-based learning
• Arts and crafts
• Life skills and sensory activities

• Small class sizes
• A collaborative team of therapists and counsellors on-site, including speech and language therapists providing 1:1 and small group support
• A calm, close-knit school with fewer than 40 pupils
• Ongoing professional development
• A genuinely supportive and understanding environment

• A qualified and experienced SEN Teacher
• Proven experience supporting children with Autism and/or SEMH needs
• Ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse needs and developmental levels
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Someone who values emotional development as much as academic progress
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to the school's rural location)
