Monday to Friday, term time only (40 weeks per year), 36 hours per week

My client, one of the country’s leading Academy Schools committed to academic excellence and traditional values, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join its thriving Science department in Hastings.

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and high-quality practical science lessons
• Maintain a safe and well‑organised lab environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Prepare and manage equipment and materials for experiments
• Assist with minor incidents and first aid (training provided)

• Experience, knowledge, or a strong interest in a science‑related field
• Maths, English, Science GCSE or equivalent
• Experience in key practical demonstrations that show key scientific concepts
• Familiarity with COSHH procedures
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Calm, professional, and resilient under pressure
• Strong communication skills with both students and staff
