Are you a caring and dependable Support Assistant looking for a meaningful role in a school environment? We’re recruiting for a dedicated Support Assistant to join a specialist school near Robertsbridge, where you’ll play a key part in supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs.

Contract:

Full-time, Term-Time Only

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, during school hours

• Provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including personal care and mobility assistance
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Deliver 1:1 or small group support throughout the school day
• Encourage the development of communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing
• Help pupils manage sensory or physical needs as part of their daily routine

• Experience working in care, education, or a support role (preferred but not essential)
• A patient, respectful, and nurturing attitude
• A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
