Our Customer Services team in Hastings is the first point of contact for our community. You’ll be helping people in person, over the phone, and online, ensuring every interaction is friendly, professional, and seamless. You’ll also be part of a wider, collaborative team that includes Hastings and Havelock North isites, Tōmoana Showgrounds, Marketing & Brand, and Communications & Community Engagement.

We are looking for a motivated, energetic Customer Services Officer who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment. You’ll be assisting our community, handling enquiries, and helping the team deliver excellent service every day.

To succeed in this role you will:

• Be able to deliver outstanding customer service across multiple channels
• Ideally have previous contact centre experience - note that this is not essential
• Be confident using computer systems and picking up new technology quickly
• Stay organised, accurate, and able to manage competing priorities
• Be proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
• Bring a positive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to learn
