TE Connectivity’s Strategic Sourcing team develops and implements multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve goals in supplier quality, delivery, pricing, and service
.

• Driving strategy and execution with cross-functional partners (engineering, manufacturing, product management).
• Managing competitive bids, negotiations, contracting, and continuous improvement for assigned commodities/services.
• Collaborating across business units and regions for optimal TE leverage.
• Ensuring compliance with TE policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with industry challenges.
• Ensure purchasing policies and processes meet business objectives and operational needs (price, quality, delivery).
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
• Use appropriate resources (including Supplier Development) to ensure supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products.
• Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
• Provide management reports, KPIs, and monitor cost performance.
• Ensure parts are sourced in full alignment with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional projects for localization and outsourcing.

• Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Study CIPS and working towards MCIPS.
• Some basic knowledge of Mechanics and Machine Turning.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Defence and Aerospace Industry in Strategic Procurement.
• Project management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and French is a plus.
