Feed Mill Operator

Pillen Family Farms is a family owned business located in Nebraska. We market approximately 2 million pigs annually. As a family-owned and family-focused farming operation, great care goes into everything we do. • Responsible for ensuring that a superior quality product is manufactured and delivered in a timely fashion while assisting in the management of inbound/outbound ingredients and finished feed.
• With the use of our technology, operator will ensure that the right feed is delivered to the right pig at the right time.
• Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Direct setup and adjustments of machines.
• Manage ingredient inventory levels based on usage and production needs.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Help to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Perform daily sanitation to all our areas of the mill and equipment.

• Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
• Must be able to climb ladders on interior and exterior bins.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and turn a crank to hitch a trailer.
• Frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Comply with all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.
