Overview
The OT Assistant is responsible for providing treatment for residents/patients under the occupational therapy plan of care as established by the therapist. This position interacts with residents/patients, family members, responsible parties and other health care team members, while maintaining standards of professional conduct. This role complies with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards.
Responsibilities- Provide treatment for residents/patients under the occupational therapy plan of care as established by the therapist.
- Interact with residents/patients, family members, responsible parties and other health care team members while maintaining professional conduct.
- Adhere to applicable regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, in good standing.
