$25.98/hr - $31.42/hr

• Intermittent hours as needed in health offices (elementary or secondary building) and field trips.
• Health office hours are based on school calendar. Length varies depending on need: up to 8 hours a day.

• Provide first aid care of injured or ill students/staff.
• Administer medications and treatments to students (e.g. glucose testing, medication administration, tube feeding, etc.) following written orders. Document care provided in electronic database.
• Respond to health emergencies, administer CPR and first aid as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and data privacy.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain and update health records, immunization files, and records.
• Conduct health care assessment and decision making based on medical knowledge and licensure.

• LPN's - $25.98 per hour; RNs - $31.42 per hour.
• This position does not include benefits as it is a non contracted position.

Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse License, Current First Aid and CPR certification, Computer Literacy.

• Develop good relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Work well as a member of a team.
• Initiate assigned tasks independently.
• Effectively communicate (oral, electronic, and written forms) with students, staff and parents.
• Readily utilize computer programs for data entry (Microsoft Word, Infinite Campus, Google Drive, etc.).
• Maintain health records in accordance with policy and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness.
• Ability to react quickly and decisively in a crisis.
• Ability to function with a minimum of supervision.
• Display a high level of professionalism.
