Senior Strategic Accounts Manager
Work Location: Mostly remote with some travel. Must be local to Minnesota or Wisconsin

SummaryThe Senior Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of large, strategic accounts within the Fenestration industry. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, increasing account penetration, and developing long-term customer relationships. Success requires strong strategic planning, consultative selling capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of large strategic accounts to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and expand share-of-wallet within each account.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver customized solutions.
- Foster a collaborative internal team environment to support growth and customer needs.
Business Insights and Reporting
- Monitor account performance and analyze data to inform strategic adjustments.
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to guide account strategies.
- Identify new product, service, or program opportunities that support customer penetration.
Sales Execution and Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project agreements for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Follow company policies and contribute to a safe, hazard-free work environment.
- Maintain accurate records and updates in CRM and other sales tools.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 6-8 years of sales experience with OEM customers, ideally in plastics processing or custom engineered products.
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling experience.
- Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Self-motivated and data-driven with strong decision-making capability.
- Commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
