Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated RN/LPN Unit Manager to oversee our nursing unit during day shifts with an on-call rotation. The Unit Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor the quality of care
Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Participating in resident assessments, care conferences, and discharge planning
Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and support as needed
Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support and guidance to staff during off-hours
Requirements:
Valid RN or LPN license in the state of MA
One year or more experience as a nursing Supervisor or Manager
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to provide exceptional care
Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
