Along with being responsible for the overall financial success of the Company, you will help lead the financial integration of our upcoming hotel redevelopment project.

The Director of Finance at Wychmere Beach Club occupies a uniquely high-visibility seat, requiring the ability to pivot seamlessly between several distinct audiences:

Executive Management: As a cornerstone of the senior leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to ensure that luxury service standards are met through efficient, data-backed operational budgets.

The Ownership Group: You will act as a trusted strategic advisor, not only to our Managing Director, but to our owners and their Asset Manager, providing high-level financial narratives, risk assessments, and capital expenditure clarity required to make legacy-defining decisions.

The Broader Team: You will be a visible leader who helps demystify the “why” behind our financial systems and growth, fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility and professional excellence across all departments.

Reports to: Managing Director

Supervises: Assistant Director of Finance, Accountant, Purchasing Manager, IT Manager

Internal: Managing Director, Asset Manager, Accounting Staff, Department Managers

External: Financial Institutions, Insurance Underwriters, Technology & Systems Providers, External Auditors & Tax Advisors, Vendors, Purveyors

The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall financial success of the Company including delivering a high-definition narrative of our historical performance while maintaining rigorous oversight of our current financial landscape. By bridging meticulous data-storytelling with forward-looking projections, the Director of Finance ensures that our most critical growth strategies are executed with the precision and foresight required to sustain Wychmere’s long-term legacy.

The Director of Finance also serves as the definitive guardian of the Club’s integrity, ensuring that every facet of the operation remains in steadfast alignment with local and federal regulations, as well as our private contractual commitments. By maintaining a vigilant defense of the company’s assets and financial resources, they act as a primary catalyst for maximizing long-term profitability and ownership value.

Financial Stewardship: You will provide disciplined oversight of our operational and redevelopment budgets, along with long-term capital reserve planning.
