This is a full-time on-site role for a CDL Driver located in Harvey, LA. The CDL Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods or materials. Day-to-day tasks include driving trucks on designated routes, following all traffic laws and DOT regulations, managing cargo loading and unloading, and ensuring timely delivery. The role also involves regular vehicle inspections to maintain compliance and safety.
Qualifications- Valid CDL Class A license and proficient truck driving skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in safely loading and unloading cargo
- Ability to handle long hours driving and perform inspections on trucks
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to transportation laws
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain accurate delivery records
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
