As a Rail Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of work sites along railways. Your role will involve monitoring for potential hazards and preventing unauthorized access to the work area, ensuring that all personnel and equipment remain safe during construction or maintenance activities.

• Monitor and guard work areas along rail tracks to ensure the safety of crew members and equipment.
• Work closely with the crew and supervisors to provide updates on the safety status of the rail area.
• Identify and report any potential hazards, unauthorized personnel, or safety concerns on the job site.
• Prevent unauthorized access to the worksite and control movement around active rail zones.
• Follow all safety protocols, federal and state regulations for railway work, ensuring compliance with rail safety standards.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Pay Rate: $14 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.
• Work Schedule: Full-time position, with potential overtime as needed.
• Training: On-the-job training may be provided for candidates new to the rail industry.
