Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
• Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Explain how to use Target App features including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns following register prompts and collaborate with Leaders as needed while following policies
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage stock as needed during open store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services (OPU, Drive-Up Orders, DU Returns) and comply with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations)
• All other duties based on business needs

• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Willingness to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners and operate technology as directed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
