Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to take a pivotal role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership position will involve overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and strategic planning to support the organization's growth and sustainability. As a key advisor to the executive team, the Controller will provide valuable insights to drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger oversight and account reconciliations.

- Prepare and deliver financial statements in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid strategic planning.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audit processes.

- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard financial integrity.

- Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets, funding allocations, and associated costs.

- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency within financial operations.

- Coordinate with external auditors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

- Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to support executive decision-making. Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, plus CPA & Bachelor's Degree

- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.

- Proven expertise in month-end closing processes and balance sheet reconciliation.

- Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate and compliant financial reports.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
