Senior Estimator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Estimator at our Harvey, LA location. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and infrastructure construction projects. Duties include analyzing project blueprints and specifications, assessing material and labor costs, preparing and submitting bid proposals, and collaborating with project managers and engineers. The Senior Estimator will maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Experience with cost estimation, project budgeting, and bid proposal preparation
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing construction blueprints and specifications
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to perform risk assessments and manage project schedules
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
• Proficiency with estimation software and MS Office Suite
• Experience in commercial and infrastructure construction projects is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil construction estimating
