The Mills Automotive Group is growing in the Harvey / New Orleans area. We are seeking several EXPERIENCED FORD Service Technicians at our Ford of Harvey location to support our growing service department. Our starting pay rate for all skilled line technicians is $25.00 per flat rate hour. Certified FORD technicians may earn more, possibly beyond $40 per hour. All positions include incentives above the base rate and start paying from day one.

• Conduct repairs, maintenance and inspections on FMC vehicles
• Line mechanic with all around experience
• Chassis, brakes, suspension, electrical and engine repair
• Inspect vehicles for repairs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test tools
• Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system (electronic repair order experience a plus)

• Own your tools
• Valid driver’s license, must pass background and substance abuse review
• Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Professional and well-kept appearance
• Technical certification and training a plus
• State inspection license preferred

• This is a flat rate position and the rate will be determined by your skills, experience and performance
