Harvey Beef is seeking Security Team Leader  to lead our dedicated 24/7 security operations right here in Harvey, WA. Reporting directly to the Manager Health, Injury Management, Security & Training, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our people and assets in a fast-paced industrial environment. This isn't just about managing security; it's about being a vital first responder for workplace injuries, vigilantly monitoring security systems, and coordinating rapid responses to alarms to ensure the absolute safety of our entire site.

** The Role
** Your critical role will involve:
* Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Security team, ensuring effective 24/7 coverage of site operations. You'll manage rosters, shift swaps, and task allocation, ensuring seamless handovers and consistent communication across shifts.
* Mentor, coach, and develop team members, supporting their competency development and career growth. You'll conduct performance conversations, provide constructive feedback, and ensure all Security Officers adhere strictly to procedures, policies, and site rules.
* Perform all essential Security Officer duties, including rigorous site access control, proactive security patrols, vigilant CCTV monitoring, and rapid response to alarms and emergencies.
* Act as a vital team lead during emergency situations and critical incidents, coordinating team actions until relieved by senior site management. You'll provide immediate first response to incidents, delivering primary first aid care, and supporting follow-up injury management.
* Ensure consistent compliance with site security, safety, and biosecurity requirements at all times. You'll actively promote a positive safety culture, proactively manage hazards, and swiftly report any incidents or security concerns.
* Coordinate and oversee the accurate completion of all required logs, reports, and registers (e.g., incident reports, alarm responses). You will also lead investigations relating to security breaches or safety concerns.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of business plans, work instructions, and site security protocols, identifying operational gaps and suggesting practical solutions.
