Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Surgical unit position requiring an active IL RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with night shift availability and every other weekend commitment.
Responsibilities- Hospital Medical Surgical unit setting
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required
- Charting performed in Epic
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off for the duration of the contract
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Active IL RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
