Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience
Patient Ratio Experience: 1:4
Charting System:
Epic (required)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred)

Skills & Competencies
Cardiac monitoring & emergency response
Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
Neurological care, including CVA management
Orthopedic trauma, splinting
Pediatric care including spinal cord injury, burns, asthma, abdominal pain
Psychiatric care: acute psychosis, drug overdose, suicidal patients, violent behavior
Shock/Trauma management, including gunshot wounds
Infection control and PPE
IV therapy/phlebotomy
Triage and isolation precautions
