Travel RN job in Harvey, Illinois (60426) for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Rehabilitation unit on 12-hour night shifts.

Location: Harvey, IL 60426 — located in the south suburbs of the Chicago area, with convenient access to major roadways for commuting and easy reach of city dining, entertainment, and regional attractions.

• Schedule: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shift Hours: 18:15 – 06:45
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5–7
• Charting System: Epic (EMR)
• Floating: Required (may float to inpatient Med-Surg)

• Experience: 1 year Med-Surg experience required (LTAC/SNF experience accepted)
• License: Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand)
• Certification: BLS (AHA)
• Skills: Comfortable managing up to a 1:7 ratio
• RTO (Time Off): RTO restrictions apply: 7 days maximum. Additionally, no more than 3 days of RTO may be requested, and no RTO is permitted during the first or last week of the contract.

• Provide safe, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing care
• Complete focused assessments, monitor changes in condition, and escalate concerns using rapid response/code team processes as needed
• Administer medications and ordered therapies, including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway support as appropriate
• Perform peripheral IV/line care and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Float to inpatient Med-Surg units as needed while maintaining consistent standards of care
