Job Overview

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC) is a not‑for‑profit behavioral health organization that treats and prevents substance use disorder and related conditions. Since 1969, FGC has educated and guided individuals toward their full potential within families and society through comprehensive programming and compassionate care.

• $2,000 sign‑on bonus (eligible for external candidates).

• Track FGC inventories of Controlled Substances II & III using electronic medication‑accounting EHR technology.
• Order controlled substances using DEA Form 222 or buprenorphine order form; receive inventory and enter data in the EHR.
• Process physicians’ orders, document services in the EHR, and audit electronic signature requirements for compliance resolution.
• Accurately dispense in‑clinic medication and unsupervised take‑home medication (unit doses) per FGC policy; initiate DEA Chain of Custody form when applicable.
• Provide Naltrexone ER education and administration services as needed.
• Document completion of required intake & discharge services and scan forms into the EHR; use alert system as needed.
• Support Mobile Medication Assisted Treatment operations, including preparing medication for FGC support staff delivery via Chain of Custody documentation.

Location: 15400 S. Page Ave., Harvey, IL

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in the State of Illinois.
