LPN - LTC

Amergis Healthcare is seeking an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) that can provide skilled, compassionate nursing care, which is key to the safety and survival of the fragile, special needs patients living at this Long-Term Habilitation Center.

All nursing staff are trained to care for ventilator-dependent, artificial airway patients. The tracheostomy/wound care nurse provides specialized care to our tracheostomy residents and other residents with wound care needs. All nursing employees are certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Many professional nursing staff also hold certifications in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, pediatric emergency assessment and resuscitation, and intravenous therapy.

Schedule:

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Can get 30-40 hours weekly but must have flexibility on days

Every other weekend required

Open availability preferred to obtain more hours

Orientation/training is offered

Next Orientation Classes: 01/20

Pay Rate : $35/hr

$750 COMPLETION BONUS UPON WORKING 13 WEEKS

ADDITIONAL $1000 AFTER WORKING 26 WEEKS

Experience

Required:

• Trach/Vent, pediatric experience
• Administer and charting treatments and medications (Point Click Care )
• Wound Care preferred
• Must be compassionate, caring, and wants to work in said environment with pediatric population, some who are 100% disabled
