** The Opportunity
** As the Senior Stores Person, you will always demonstrate day-to-day activities and productivity of the team, ensuring efficient inventory management and order processing. You'll be a key player in supporting the stores team providing guidance and training and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position reporting to the Stores Supervisor.
** Key Responsibilities
** Your role will involve:
* Demonstrating and mentoring the stores team
* Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular cyclic counts and stocktakes
* Ensuring accuracy in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
* Handling order processing, from placement to picking and packing
* Addressing customer inquiries and resolving team conflicts
** What Makes You a Great Fit
*** A strong background in warehousing and leadership
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of inventory management principles and software
* A valid Forklift License
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift 15-20kg
* Experience with MRP & ERP systems is essential, and an HR Licence is a plus!
