Base pay range: $51.00/hr – $51.00/hr.

In this role you will examine, evaluate, test, and work to alleviate mechanical, physiological, or developmental impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or other health and movement related conditions; classifying these disorders, determining a rehabilitation prognosis and plan of therapeutic intervention and assessing the ongoing effects of the interventions.

Staff have free access to UCM educational opportunities and the SRALab online Academy webinar catalog (over 190 on‑demand and live courses) and to live, in‑person courses and evidence‑based practice tools.

• Evaluates patients utilizing the advanced/specialized test and measurements to determine the physical therapy problem/level of function and the expected discharge environment.
• Promotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Establishes a treatment plan based upon the evaluation findings and the patient/family, the referring practitioner, and therapist's goals.
• Performs advanced/specialized physical therapy techniques and procedures.
• Treats patients with complex problems (e.g., comorbidities and/or poor previous outcomes); consults on difficult cases for staff and referring practitioners.
• Documents findings, patient progress, and procedures performed, and time required.
• Instructs patient/families in home programs.
• Demonstrates effective time management; achieves designated productivity standard.

• Graduate of an accredited program with minimum Bachelor’s Degree;
  Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible, in the state of Illinois with notification of eligibility for examination.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
