Description:

The Merchandise Handler in Receiving is responsible for unloading incoming shipments and verifying the quantity and condition of merchandise received. This is a first shift position working from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

• Unload merchandise from inbound trucks and trailers.
• Inspect shipments for quantity and quality accuracy.
• Verify received goods using RF scanning devices.
• Transport product to designated receiving or staging areas.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced receiving environment.
• Dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn material-handling equipment and receiving processes.
