Merchandise Handler, Order filling Department

Location:

Harvard, IL 60033

Pay Rate: $18.10/hr

Shift: 1st shift, MT 6am-3pm, WTH 6am-2pm, 6am-12pm

Description:

The Merchandise Handler in Order filling is responsible for selecting and pulling products throughout the warehouse to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be working Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to noon.

This role offers stable employment with a growing distribution operation and no prior warehouse experience required. New hires receive structured onboarding and training. Merchandise

Handler, Order filling Department Duties and Responsibilities
  • Travel throughout the warehouse to pick items for customer orders.
  • Select and verify products using RF scanning devices.
  • Transport merchandise using tugger carts and other equipment.
  • Lift, move, and handle cartons and product safely.
  • Ensure order accuracy by matching inventory to order requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and work practices.
Merchandise Handler, Order filling Department Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work safely while standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and dependability.
  • Willingness to learn equipment operation and support cross‑training opportunities.
