The customer service – office clerk supports daily distribution center operations by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, including data entry, recordkeeping, customer support, and internal coordination. This role is essential to keeping inbound and outbound operations organized, accurate, and running efficiently. CustomerService – Office Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform clerical and administrative duties including photocopying, filing, compiling records, and distributing mail.
- Answer and route phone calls while providing professional customer service support.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare forms and reports, and verify information for completeness and accuracy.
- Apply knowledge of department policies, procedures, and organizational functions to respond to inquiries or direct work appropriately.
- Support inbound and outbound operations by resolving routine issues and escalating non-routine matters as needed.
- Utilize internal systems and software to support facility operations.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- One to three years of experience in an office, clerical, customer service, or communication-focused role.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and use internal operating systems and software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
