Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate – Weekends Preferred at Lowe’s Companies, Inc.

Willows at the River Landing, AL

• Provide SMART customer service at all times in accordance with Lowe’s policies, procedures and programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring merchandise resets meet Lowe’s specifications.
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities, schedules and material needs.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in‑store service to store, market and corporate leaders.
• Engage customers when opportunities arise: understand their needsogolo; locate, demonstrate, select and assist with merchandise; provide product and warranty information.
• Move, replace and rotate stock, build and display products using power equipment (e.g., lifts, order pickers) as per reset instructions.
• Identify damaged or missing merchandise and signage, remove items from shelves, deliver to Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area, and sign off as defective.
• Verify buyback items are prepped and ready for shipping.
• Confirm product pricing information is visible and accurate; replace missing labels and update way finding signage.
• Ensure cross‑merchandise, side‑stack products, J‑hooks and gravity‑feed bins are placed appropriately to drive add‑on sales.
• Assist store leadership in staging clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale.
• Sort products in bins, drawers and boxes to maintain accurate stocking.
• Maintain plant​ograms and color blocks, placing plants and filling plant racks to grand reopening standards.
• Keep the store clean and safe: remove trash, replace light bulbs, alert management of maintenance issues, and conduct daily safety reviews.
• Detect security risks, shoplifting signs and other concerns; communicate promptly to management or Asset Protection.
• Operate store equipment as required (e.g., Zebra phone, paging system, key cutter, panel saw).
• Complete and enter detailed completion logs, including photographs, for all assigned reset and service tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, General Studies, or equivalent years of experience.

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• 6 months of product merchandising experience, including reading planograms/plantograms and setting up displays.
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
