CNC Miller - Mazak / Mazatrol

Rate:
Up to £19.00 per hour + shift allowance

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Overtime:
Available, paid at time and a half

Jackson Hogg are supporting a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer in County Durham who are looking to recruit two CNC Millers on a permanent basis. The business operates across the oil & gas, projects and defence sectors and has an excellent order book with long-term, stable work and exciting growth plans.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller with strong Mazatrol programming capability to join a business investing in its people and facilities.

• Operating 3 & 4 axis Mazak CNC milling machines
• Mazatrol programming at the machine
• Setting, operating and editing programs
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out basic quality inspection of own work
• Working to health & safety and housekeeping standards

• Time-served CNC Miller or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with Mazak milling machines
• Mazatrol programming experience essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working to tight tolerances

• Up to £19.00 per hour (standard day rate)
• Based on 40 hours per week = £39,520 per annum
• Shift allowances (applied to base rate):
  • Earlies: +11%
  • Backs: +22%
  • Nights: +33%
• Overtime available, paid at time and a half
• Permanent, long-term opportunity
