Overview

Yateley Manor is a leading co‑educational independent school in Yateley, North Hampshire. The school continues to thrive as an independent all‑through school for children aged 2 to 16, having recently expanded its provision to be 2 to 16 by September 2026. The school is non‑selective and a member of IAPS. Class sizes are small and teaching areas bright and purposeful. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, large sports hall, woodland learning area, climbing wall, and playing fields.

Position

Head of ICT and Computing

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, well‑qualified Head of ICT and Computing to lead the ICT department. The successful candidate should be able to teach across the whole age and ability range up to Year 11. The post holder will be expected to lead the department and be instrumental in the future development of ICT and Computing at Yateley Manor School.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the teachers and assistants within the ICT department to enable them to meet the Development Plan targets for ICT and Computing.
  • Manage the curriculum and teaching & learning development in ICT and Computing from the Foundation Years through KS1, KS2 through to KS3 and KS4.
  • Actively support continuous improvements within the school.
  • Manage the development and procurement of resources for ICT and Computing.
